Pratap Smarak

Atop Moti Magri hill overlooking Fateh Sagar Lake stands this powerful bronze equestrian statue of Maharana Pratap on his legendary horse Chetak – a proud tribute to Mewar's most revered warrior king and symbol of Rajput valour.

icon
Shilp Gram, Udaipur

A sprawling rural arts and crafts village on the outskirts of Udaipur where skilled artisans from Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Goa demonstrate age-old handicrafts. Visit potters, weavers, and leather craftsmen at work in their authentic village-style workshops.

Jagdish Temple

Consecrated in 1651 CE, this magnificent Indo-Aryan temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is the largest and most celebrated temple in Udaipur. Its ornately carved sandstone shikhara, brass Garuda pillar, and detailed friezes depicting celestial beings are remarkable examples of Mewar temple craft.

Built by Maharana Kumbha in the 15th century, its boundary wall stretches approximately 36 kilometres – second only to the Great Wall of China in length. The fort complex houses over 360 temples, several royal palaces, and stepwells within its massive walls. The Badal Mahal (Palace of Clouds) at the summit offers sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. Kumbhalgarh is also historically significant as the birthplace of the legendary warrior king Maharana Pratap. Allow 2–3 hours to explore. Continue driving to Jodhpur and check in to your hotel by evening.

The view of the blue city spreading below is breathtaking.

Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum

One of the world's largest private residences, Umaid Bhawan Palace is part royal home, part heritage hotel, and part extraordinary museum. The museum wing displays vintage photographs, royal regalia, Art Deco furnishings, and a remarkable assembly of trophies and ceremonial objects collected by the Jodhpur royal family.

Jaswant Thada

Often called the Taj Mahal of Marwar, this pristine white marble cenotaph was erected in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II.
