Ranakpur Jain Temples
Set within a forested valley of the Aravalli Range, the Ranakpur Jain temple complex is considered one of the five most sacred pilgrimage sites in Jainism and one of the finest examples of temple architecture in all of India. The principal shrine, Chaturmukha Dharana Vihara, was constructed in the 15th century and is dedicated to Adinath, the first Tirthankara of Jainism. Its most astonishing feature is a forest of 1,444 intricately carved marble pillars – each one uniquely designed with no two pillars bearing identical carvings. The temple's multiple domes, ornamental toranas (arched gateways), and delicately latticed marble screens create an interplay of light and shadow that shifts beautifully throughout the day. The craftsmanship reflects five decades of dedicated work by skilled artisans and is a supreme achievement of medieval Indian stonework. Photography is permitted in most areas of the outer complex. Dilwara Jain Temples
Universally praised as one of the greatest achievements of marble craftsmanship in the world, the Dilwara Temples were constructed between the 11th and 13th centuries by Jain merchants and nobles. The Vimal Vasahi temple (dedicated to Adinath, built in 1031 CE) and the Luna Vasahi temple (dedicated to Neminath, built in 1231 CE) are the most celebrated. Their ceilings, pillars, and domes are covered in breathtaking filigree carvings of such delicacy that they appear almost like lace carved in stone. Photography inside the inner sanctums is not permitted, which encourages mindful, unhurried exploration of each carved surface.
Peace Park
A beautifully landscaped hilltop garden maintained by the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University, Peace Park is a quiet sanctuary of flowering plants, scenic terraces, and meditative walking paths. Nakki Lake

Sunset Point
One of Mount Abu's most visited viewpoints, Sunset Point commands a wide panoramic view across the Aravalli valleys and plains below. The short uphill trail to the viewpoint passes through pleasant woodland and is a favourite evening walk for visitors and locals alike.
Toad Rock
A striking natural rock formation near Nakki Lake that bears an unmistakable resemblance to a toad when viewed from the correct angle. Toad Rock is a short and enjoyable trek from the lakeside, rewarding visitors with lovely views over the lake and surrounding hills. The path also passes Trevor's Tank, a small reservoir known for its resident marsh crocodiles.
Guru Shikhar
Standing at 1,722 metres above sea level, Guru Shikhar is the highest peak in the entire Aravalli Range and the loftiest point in Rajasthan. The summit is home to a small but revered temple dedicated to Lord Dattatreya, a composite deity embodying Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The drive up offers spectacular mountain scenery, and the panoramic views from the top stretch across several states on a clear day.
Achalgarh Fort & Mahadev Temple
Perched high in the hills above Mount Abu, the Achalgarh Fort was originally built by the Paramara dynasty and later restored by Maharana Kumbha of Mewar in the 15th century. Within the fort complex stands the ancient Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple, one of the holiest Shiva shrines in Rajasthan. Its distinctive feature is a naturally formed Shivalinga worshipped as a divine footprint of Lord Shiva. A large stone Nandi bull and a scenic tank add to the spiritual character of the site.
