Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Jaipur & Evening Exploration

We’ll pick you up from Jaipur Airport or Railway Station and transfer you to your hotel. After a short refreshment, begin your evening sightseeing tour of the Pink City.

Statue Circle
Birla Auditorium & Planetarium
New Vidhan Sabha
Birla Mandir
Jawahar Kala Kendra
icon
Statue Circle

Jaipur's most recognisable modern landmark, Statue Circle is a large rotary centred around a gleaming white marble statue of Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II – the city's visionary founder. Beautifully illuminated after sunset, it is surrounded by manicured lawns and is a popular evening gathering spot for locals and visitors alike. An ideal first introduction to the spirit of Jaipur.

icon
Birla Auditorium & Planetarium

Located near Statue Circle, the Birla Auditorium is one of Jaipur's premier cultural venues hosting concerts, theatre performances, and public events. Adjacent to it, the Birla Planetarium offers fascinating astronomy shows and space science exhibitions – a wonderful and educational evening activity, especially for families and curious minds of all ages.

icon
New Vidhan Sabha

Rajasthan's state legislative assembly building is a striking example of contemporary Indian architecture that draws inspiration from traditional Rajput and Mughal design elements. The distinctive circular structure with its sandstone-toned exterior and surrounding gardens is particularly impressive when viewed and photographed after dark during its evening illumination.

icon
Birla Mandir

Constructed from gleaming white Makrana marble at the foot of Moti Doongri hill, this modern Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Its marble panels feature carvings from Hindu scriptures alongside quotes from world spiritual traditions. The temple is most beautiful when lit up in the evening and offers a deeply serene atmosphere for quiet reflection after the day's travel.

icon
Jawahar Kala Kendra

Designed by the renowned architect Charles Correa and opened in 1993, Jawahar Kala Kendra is Rajasthan's premier centre for arts, culture, and creative expression. Its unique architectural concept draws from the nine-square Navagraha mandala that inspired Jaipur's original city plan. The centre hosts art galleries, theatre productions, craft exhibitions, and cultural festivals throughout the year – an unmissable evening destination for art lovers.

In the evening, savor an authentic Rajasthani dinner at a resort before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 Jaipur Full-Day City Tour

After breakfast, get ready to explore the Pink City and visit the following places:

Hawa Mahal
City Palace, Jaipur
Jantar Mantar, Jaipur
Jal Mahal
Amer Fort (Amber Fort)
Nahargarh Fort
icon
Hawa Mahal

Built in 1799 CE by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh, the Palace of Winds is Jaipur's most recognisable icon. Its extraordinary five-storey pink sandstone facade features 953 intricately designed windows and honeycomb-like jharokhas (latticed screens) that allowed royal ladies to observe street processions while remaining veiled. The interior structure resembles a beehive of small chambers and stairways. Best admired and photographed from the street facing its stunning exterior in morning light.

icon
City Palace, Jaipur

At the heart of Jaipur's walled old city, the City Palace complex was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II and expanded by successive rulers. Its elegant Chandra Mahal (still the residence of the Jaipur royal family), Mubarak Mahal, and Diwan-e-Khas house remarkable collections of royal textiles, armour, ceremonial palanquins, silver vessels, and exquisite Rajput and Mughal miniature paintings. The sprawling complex is a must-visit centrepiece of Jaipur's heritage.

icon
Jantar Mantar, Jaipur

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most remarkable astronomical observatories, Jantar Mantar was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1724 CE. Its 19 large-scale stone and marble instruments were designed to measure time with extraordinary precision, predict eclipses, track planetary positions, and determine the azimuth of celestial bodies. The Samrat Yantra sundial here is the world's largest, accurate to within two seconds. A profound achievement of 18th-century scientific thinking.

icon
Jal Mahal

Floating serenely in the middle of Man Sagar Lake on the road to Amber, Jal Mahal (Water Palace) is one of Jaipur's most hauntingly beautiful sights. Built by Maharaja Madho Singh I in the 18th century in a blend of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles, the five-storey palace has four of its floors submerged beneath the lake's surface. The palace and its surrounding birdlife-rich wetlands are best appreciated from the lakeside promenade, particularly at dusk.

icon
Amer Fort (Amber Fort)

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and Jaipur's most celebrated monument, Amber Fort rises dramatically on a hillside above Maota Lake. Built by Raja Man Singh I in 1592 CE and expanded by successive Kachhawa rulers, this vast Rajput fort-palace complex is renowned for its Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors) whose thousands of inlaid mirror fragments create a dazzling starlit effect, the ornate Ganesh Pol gateway, the Diwan-e-Khas, and the beautifully landscaped Mohan Bari gardens. One of Rajasthan's most rewarding and enriching heritage experiences.

icon
Nahargarh Fort

Perched on the rugged Aravalli ridge high above the Pink City, Nahargarh (Tiger Fort) was built in 1734 CE as a pleasure retreat and defensive outpost for the Jaipur rulers. Its elevated hilltop setting offers some of the most spectacular panoramic views of Jaipur, the Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, and the plains stretching to the horizon – stunning at sunset. The fort also houses a wax museum and a popular rooftop café.

In the evening, experience the captivating Light & Sound Show at Amer Fort, followed by an overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 3 Jaipur to Jodhpur via Ajmer & Pushkar

After breakfast, proceed towards Jodhpur with enriching visits to Ajmer and Pushkar en route.

Ajmer Sharif Dargah
Brahma Temple, Pushkar
Pushkar Lake & Ghats
icon
Ajmer Sharif Dargah

The Dargah Sharif of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is one of the most venerated Sufi shrines in the world and among the most significant pilgrimage destinations in all of South Asia. The 13th-century Sufi saint, revered as Gharib Nawaz (Benefactor of the Poor), attracted followers from every community with his teachings of divine love, compassion, and service to humanity. Today, millions of devotees of all faiths visit throughout the year, drawn by the sacred atmosphere of rose petals, qawwali devotional music, and the fragrant smoke of incense rising through marble archways. The Dargah's principal structures include the Buland Darwaza, the ornate Nizam Gate gifted by the Nizam of Hyderabad, the Shahjahani Mosque built by Emperor Shah Jahan, and two enormous iron cauldrons (degs) used to prepare communal food for pilgrims. A visit here is a deeply humbling and spiritually moving experience.

icon
Brahma Temple, Pushkar

Among the rarest and most sacred temples in the Hindu world, the Brahma Temple in Pushkar is one of very few temples anywhere on earth dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator deity of the Hindu Trinity. According to mythology, Pushkar is the site where Lord Brahma performed a sacred yajna (fire ritual), and a lotus petal from his hand fell here creating the holy lake. The 14th-century temple with its distinctive red shikhara (spire) and marble interior is the spiritual centrepiece of Pushkar town. Devotees consider a darshan here among the most auspicious acts of Hindu pilgrimage. Dress modestly and remove footwear before entering.

icon
Pushkar Lake & Ghats

Pushkar Lake is one of the most sacred water bodies in Hinduism, encircled by 52 bathing ghats and over 400 temples of various sizes and vintage. Pilgrims come from across India to bathe in its holy waters, believed to cleanse sins and bring blessings. The ghats are most atmospheric at dawn and dusk when oil lamps are floated on the water, conch shells are sounded, and aarti ceremonies fill the air with devotional energy and the scent of marigold offerings. Continue onwards to Jodhpur after your Pushkar visit and check in by evening.

Continue towards Jodhpur, check in at your hotel, and stay overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 4 Full-Day Jodhpur City Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, explore the following places:

Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum
Jaswant Thada
Clock Tower & Local Markets
Vintage Car Museum
Mehrangarh Fort
icon
Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum

One of the world's largest private residences, Umaid Bhawan Palace is simultaneously a royal family home, a luxury heritage hotel, and a beautifully curated museum. The museum wing presents rare royal artefacts, vintage ceremonial photographs, Art Deco period furnishings, and an extraordinary collection of trophies and regalia that illuminate the grandeur and personal stories of the Jodhpur Rathore dynasty. A compelling complement to the fort experience.

icon
Jaswant Thada

Affectionately called the Taj Mahal of Marwar, this pristine white marble cenotaph was erected in 1899 CE in memory of the wise and progressive Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. The translucent marble panels emit a warm golden glow when sunlight passes through them. Set within a peaceful garden with Mehrangarh Fort rising dramatically behind it, Jaswant Thada is one of Jodhpur's most serene and photogenic landmarks.

icon
Clock Tower & Local Markets

The iconic Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower) anchors the lively Sardar Market – the commercial and cultural heart of old Jodhpur. Stroll through narrow lanes overflowing with aromatic Rajasthani spice blends, freshly ground masalas, hand-crafted silver jewellery, vivid Bandhej tie-dye fabrics, traditional Jodhpuri leather jootis, and street food stalls. A true feast for all the senses and the best place to pick up authentic local souvenirs.

icon
Vintage Car Museum

Within the Umaid Bhawan Palace premises, this exceptional museum houses the prized royal fleet of vintage automobiles collected by the Jodhpur rulers over generations. Gleaming Rolls-Royces, stately Bentleys, classic Mercedes-Benz sedans, and vintage military jeeps stand on display – each a symbol of the princely era when Rajput maharajas travelled in extraordinary style. A must-visit for history enthusiasts and automobile lovers alike.

icon
Mehrangarh Fort

The grand finale of your Jodhpur day, Mehrangarh rises 120 metres above the city on a sheer sandstone cliff – one of India's largest, best-preserved, and most awe-inspiring forts. Founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 CE, its colossal walls and towering gates have remained unconquered throughout history. Inside, magnificently decorated royal apartments – including the Phool Mahal (Flower Palace), Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), and Sheesh Mahal – house a world-class museum of Rajput artefacts, royal palanquins, elephant howdahs, and ornate weaponry. The panoramic view of the blue-painted old city spreading below the fort walls is one of the most spectacular sights in all of Rajasthan. Allow 2–3 hours and end your visit with a sunset view from the fort ramparts.
