Ajmer Sharif Dargah
The Dargah Sharif of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti is one of the most venerated Sufi shrines in the world and among the most significant pilgrimage destinations in all of South Asia. The 13th-century Sufi saint, revered as Gharib Nawaz (Benefactor of the Poor), attracted followers from every community with his teachings of divine love, compassion, and service to humanity. Today, millions of devotees of all faiths visit throughout the year, drawn by the sacred atmosphere of rose petals, qawwali devotional music, and the fragrant smoke of incense rising through marble archways. The Dargah's principal structures include the Buland Darwaza, the ornate Nizam Gate gifted by the Nizam of Hyderabad, the Shahjahani Mosque built by Emperor Shah Jahan, and two enormous iron cauldrons (degs) used to prepare communal food for pilgrims. Brahma Temple, Pushkar
Among the rarest and most sacred temples in the Hindu world, the Brahma Temple in Pushkar is one of very few temples anywhere on earth dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator deity of the Hindu Trinity. According to mythology, Pushkar is the site where Lord Brahma performed a sacred yajna (fire ritual), and a lotus petal from his hand fell here creating the holy lake. The 14th-century temple with its distinctive red shikhara (spire) and marble interior is the spiritual centrepiece of Pushkar town. Pushkar Lake & Ghats
